Bees on Steroids

The bulkiness of these bees makes it impossible to scan correctly but that's all I have time for this morning. I thought I was ordering the same bee buttons I always buy, but these are so much bigger! I think they're okay, just a different look. I apparently ordered the first bees I came to without scrolling down the page to the "tiny bees". Whoomp, there it is.(I heard that song on the radio this morning. Is it stuck in your head now too? You're welcome.)

I finally received my load-in time and location for the Waterfront Art Festival in Canandaigua this weekend. I get to set up at 10:00 Friday morning - I'm thrilled, being a morning person. That's also the time that Kerri cleans our house so that works out perfectly, to be gone then. I'll be sending out an email tonight or tomorrow with a map and I'll be posting it on the Pine Tree Designs Facebook Page too.

In even more exciting news, I received my vendor application from the Genesee Valley Quilt Club for their 2011 Diamond Jubilee Quilt Festival. It's a big show they produce every 2 years. I participated in 2009 and it's still my 2nd best show on record. Now that I know what to expect, I'm really gonna kill it next year. I've been checking their website fanatically, awaiting the application. Not only do I make some good money, but it's a 3-day extravaganza filled with colorful quilts and colorful quilters. My peeps! I love it.

Here's a word you haven't heard me utter in a while: audit. We are having one of our 3 times/year audits by our flooring company (clearing house for vendor invoices). I agreed to do it this week, even though I knew I'd be crazy busy prepping for this weekend's show. I was at my desk at 5:45 this morning, though I am taking a few minutes out to post this. While it's usually quite a load of work on top of my already full time plus, job - this week I'm squeezing it into four days.

I can do it!

37th Annual Waterfront Art Festival
July 24 & 25, 2010  in Canandaigua, NY

Bees on steroids - HA! I think they work for the size, though.

And I LOVE the flowers! Are those stamped?
